 RefWorks 2.0

Start RefWorks Now!

If you are a NEW USER, you will need to
sign up for a new account.

To use RefWorks from OFF CAMPUS:

Get the St. Kate's Group Code Here

To see the Group Code,
enter your KateWay user name and password

NOTES: KateWay & Pop-ups

KateWay:

When logging into RefWorks with the Group Code, we advise that you NOT be logged into KateWay.

If you are using Library databases, begin your search at the Library's website, then log in when prompted using your KateWay username and password.

Pop-up Blockers:

Having the pop-up blocker enabled on your computer may prohibit references from exporting into RefWorks, or keep RefWorks from opening windows or creating a bibliography.

If either of these occur, you may need to turn off the pop-up blocker. This varies by browser: in IE, go to Tools->> Pop-up Blocker; in Firefox, go to Tools --> Options --> Content.

Can't remember your RefWorks password?

See if you still have the e-mail you were sent when you created your account (it will be from noreply). It will give you the login name and password you created.

If you don't have your password, you can use the "Forgot Your Login Information?" link on the login screen.

What is RefWorks?

RefWorks is a web-based citation manager. It is provided and supported by St. Catherine University Libraries for use by all students, faculty and staff. Using RefWorks, you can:

  • Import and store citations found in Library databases or other sources
  • Organize your citations into folders & access them via the Internet
  • Generate a reference list formatted in any citation style
  • Insert in-text citations as you write your paper
  • Share reference lists with classmates or others in a group, anywhere.

Get started by going to our Guides & Tutorials page.
