The Annual Copyright License

Created and administered by the Copyright Clearance Center, the Annual Copyright License for Academic Institutions provides for a broad licensing that allows the St. Kate's community to reproduce or electronically distribute text-based copyrighted content for educational and research purposes.

This allows faculty, staff, students, and contractors to make copies for:

  • Classroom handouts
  • Library reserves (print and electronic)
  • Electronic course content (course management systems and intranet postings)
  • Research collaboration
  • Faculty-to-faculty sharing
  • Administrative communication
  • Internal e-mail
