ILL borrowing policies

OCLC Symbol: MNE

ILL service: ILLiad

ILL request methods accepted by MNE: We are able to receive ILL requests via OCLC or through this link.

Billing method: We participate in OCLC's IFM billing, but we will send an invoice with the shipped item when necessary.

Loan period for books: Six weeks.

Renewals: If there are no holds on the book, we will renew once for an additional eight weeks.

Charge for loan of books or copies of articles: Our current fee is $15 per loan or copy requested. We will copy/scan up to 50 pages within copyright guidelines. We will not provide copies or loans to libraries outside of the US.

Charge for lost books: $65 US. Requesting libraries are responsible for all materials, lost or damaged, from the time they leave our library until they return safely.

ILL Schedule: ILL operates year round, although is closed around the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Circulating items: We will loan all items in our Main and Oversize collections. Circulating items can be identified with our catalog.

Non-circulating items: We do not loan out reference, reserves, browsing, microfilm, microfiche, newspapers, periodicals, audio-visual media, software or materials from Archives or Special Collections.
