Student Learning Outcomes

Students will demonstrate effective search strategies by:

  • Understanding the scope of information sources available and how to access them
  • Identifying where to search for the most appropriate information (databases, websites, archives etc.)
  • Using effective search terms and techniques
  • Evaluating search results and adjusting search strategy as necessary
  • Persisting through search challenges and asking for assistance when needed
