APA Basics 7th Edition Workshops

APA Basics Workshop Recording

The recorded APA Basics workshop is here. The session is approximately 2 hours in length. You will be prompted to log in with your St. Kate's user name and password. If you want to access the closed captions, click on the CC button underneath the screen image.

If you prefer learning at your own pace or in chunks, the St. Kate's librarians have created an online APA course that you can take anytime, also located on the APA guide.

Preparation for the Online Workshop

Once your registration has been confirmed, please note the following items:

  • Let Sue know if you will not be able to attend. A quick reply to the confirmation email you receive is appreciated!
  • If you prefer, print or download the PowerPoint slides before the workshops (click the Workshop Resources page). Workshop materials will be posted no later than September 16.
  • We encourage you to join the session early to troubleshoot any technology issues. We will open access to Saturday's workshop at 8:45 am, and we will start promptly at 9; access to Wednesday's workshop will begin at 6:15 pm, and we will begin promptly at 6:30.
  • Do not use Internet Explorer to access the webinar.
  • Have the Workshop Resources page and the APA Style website up on your computer as we will be referring to them during the webinar.
  • If you have your own copy of the APA 7th manual, keep it handy so you can refer to it during the workshop.
  • The workshops will be recorded so you will need to consent to being recorded before you join the session.

We look forward to working and learning together.
