The project is part of a Minnesota, Twin Cities, and University of Minnesota justice-oriented MN Transform project. In response to the 2020 resolutions written by the Minnesota Indian Affairs Council (MIAC) calling on the University of Minnesota to be better relatives to the 11 Tribal Nations, the TRUTH Project is a collaborative effort between MIAC and the University that is convening a TRUTH Task Force that will release a report detailing findings and recommendations for the University on bettering their relations with the Tribal Nations in Minnesota.
