TLN 2019: Streaming Media to Enhance Your Curriculum for Inclusive Excellence

Rudine Sims Bishop’s idea of mirrors, windows, and sliding glass doors suggests that audiences need stories that are mirrors that reflect themselves, windows into other worlds, and sliding glass doors that serve as portals to pass through. St. Kate’s Libraries and Archives applies this idea of learning, recognition, and imagining to all the formats we collect, including streaming media. Below is a list of streaming media titles recommended by librarians Martha Vest and Lizzy Tegeler at their January 2019 TLN presentation, "Better than Netflix: Streaming Media to Enhance Your Curriculum for Inclusive Excellence."
