Since browsing for books isn’t possible in our current COVID landscape, it can feel difficult to discover a wide, fun selection of reading material. The library wants to help you and your family keep reading!
Our “Library To Go” program offers two options for you to use to discover your next great read:
Pick up a Library Grab Bag. Each offers an assortment of 10 books around various children's and young adult reading levels. The book bags are stored at our circulation desk, which means you can stop by during our Library Pick Up hours, ring the doorbell, and check-out any of the available bags.
These bags are first-come, first served/non-reservable. Two bags may be checked out per family at a time.
Request more personalized recommendations using our Reading Recommendation Form. We’ll ask you a few questions to help inspire our recommendations, place 5 books on hold for you, and email you when they are ready to be picked up. This more personalized option takes 2-4 business days.
We especially recommend the form for those looking for young adult and adult chapter books.
Please complete one form at a time per family member. And kids aren’t the only ones who deserve a reading break - adult readers are welcome to fill out the form, too!
Loan Periods are 8 weeks for Undergrad Students, and 120 days for Graduate Students, Faculty, Staff, and CSJs.
You are welcome to call ahead to learn which bags are available before making the trip to campus - 651.690.8737.
