Statistical & Census Data

The census is collected every 10 years. 2010 is a Census Year--find information about this year's Census here.

This initiative collects and produces population and housing information every year (instead of every ten years as is the case with the Census).

The Integrated Public Use Microdata Series (IPUMS-USA) provides over fifty samples of the American population from fifteen federal censuses and from the American Community Surveys of 2000-present. IPUMS provides microdata, which will require the use of statistical software, such as SPSS or R, in order to view and manipulate the dataset.
