Profiles @ St. Kate's

Profiles @ St. Kate's is a module of the research information management tool (Pure) for St. Catherine University.  It uses University records and publication data harvested from third party aggregators to create public profiles for faculty and key academic and research staff.  These profiles also create the 'Meet the Faculty' profiles on the University website.  Because the automated and centrally managed profile may not tell your whole story, you can add publication information from other sources, research statement, media mentions, and other information about who you are as a scholar, creator, and educator.

It is ultimately your responsibility to ensure your profile is up to date and reflects your scholarship and activities.  A bi-annual maintenance of core information including adding new and updating existing profiles will be handled by the Deans' offices.

Required elements include:

• Profile Picture 

  • this field will be managed by Pure administrators
  • all pictures must be professional
  • default pictures will be added using University's Communication department portraits
    • due to sizing requirements for web page, any changes to pictures must be completed by the web team
      • please contact your Dean's office about changing your picture
      • they will manage the change with the web team

• Rank and additional titles

• Programs within which you teach and Departments/Centers with which you are affiliated

  • this field will be managed by Pure administrators

Profiles @ St. Kate's is built on a platform called Pure.  To log into your profile:

1. Go to https://stkate.elsevierpure.com/
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Login to Pure (https://stkate.elsevierpure.com/admin/workspace.xhtml)
   1. See below for image of the 'Log in to Pure' link.  
   2. This 'Log in to Pure' link appears at the bottom of all Faculty Portal pages.
3. If prompted, login with your St. Kate email and password.  This will bring you to your personal overview page
